Eat like a Viking!  Enjoy some authentic Icelandic culture.  Join the Icelandic Association of Utah in celebrating Thorroblót 2013.
Thorroblót is Icelands annual end-of winter-solstice feast. This year we carry on this traditional celebration with good food, fun and perhaps a few surprises. We will have our traditional festivities of Barnakór (Childrens Choir), quilt auction, and door prizes.
Enjoy a feast of lamb & fish professionally catered by Viking Feast.  For those of you who truly wish to EAT LIKE A VIKING, purchase our þorramatur sample platter. The þorramatur includes traditional imported Icelandic delicacies, such as hangikjöt (smoked lamb), harðfiskur (dried fish), hákarl (cured shark), flatbrauð (flatbread), lifrapylsur (liver pudding) and hrutspungur (pickled ram’s testicles) All of these items are a big part of this traditional feast in Iceland, as are music and dancing. Don’t miss it!
